About Me

 

My husband and I have lived on Cape Cod since 1990. I worked as a registered nurse until I retired in 2021.

I have always enjoyed growing plants and vegetables when time allowed while our children were growing up. I found that raising 4 children left little time for hobbies.

Since my retirement, I helped my children with my many grandchildren but still needed to find something to do with my spare time.

My husband built a greenhouse for me to occupy my time and I found my passion again; instead of nurturing people back to health, I would nurture my seedlings to maturity.

I first heard of Microgreens when the weather started getting cold here in New England. Something that grew inside where the temperature and humidity could be controlled sounded like a good hobby for the winter.
